Library Services
The Miami Tribal Library is a full-service library located in the Miami Nation headquarters complex. The facility serves people of all ages and races, with a large patronage of persons over the age of 55.
Services offered by the library include:
- Full service library, with books, books on cassette, videos, magazines, and newspapers, available for check-out.
- Public access Internet terminals.
- Searchable Web catalog
- Roots and Wings program provides free books and bibliographies for young tribal members as they enroll.
- Member of the Oklahoma Library Technology Network.
- Founding member of the CHARLIE Library Network.
- Collection has special emphasis in tribal history, culture and genealogy, biography, cook books, true crime, crafts, and recreational reading.
Due to lack of funds, we no longer offer storyteller and "Books for Babies" programs at this time, but hope to restore these programs when funds allow. If you would be interested in helping to support these programs, see our Friends of the Library page.
